The day of our wedding was also Mom Gardner's birthday. I was grateful that she allowed us to get married on her birthday. The best birthday present that we got her was bringing all of her kids home for the special day. We decided that we needed to celebrate her birthday on that day at some point. We decided to surprise her with a cake during the reception. Mike actually walked up too close to her and it really did surprise her.
